Scanning scorecard

Area, district leaders remain unchanged

Scanning allows customers to track their packages.

The national scanning score was 96.5 percent for the week ending Dec. 25, up slightly from one week earlier.

Great Lakes (96.74 percent) again led the areas. Western (96.67 percent) ended the week in second place, followed by Capital Metro (96.55 percent), which rose four spots to finish third.

Meanwhile, Western New York (97.87 percent) held onto first place among the districts. Arkansas (97.75 percent) jumped from 35th place the previous week to finish second. Dakotas (97.55 percent) rose two spots to take third.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu bar to select DES 2.
