Newhall, CA, Letter Carrier Cynthia Maker was delivering mail when she heard a woman crying for help. Maker called 911. Emergency responders arrived, entered the house and found the injured woman lying on the floor. She was taken to a hospital for treatment. After work, Maker visited the woman in the hospital to make sure she was OK.
