Scanning scorecard

Leaders remain virtually unchanged

Scanning
Scanning helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

The Postal Service averaged a 96.66 percent scanning rating during the week ending Oct. 16, up slightly from one week earlier.

The top three areas remain unchanged from the previous week: Western (97.2 percent) ranks first, followed by Capital Metro (96.92 percent) and Great Lakes (96.87 percent).

Once again, Western has the top three districts: Portland (97.87 percent) and Dakotas (97.8 percent) continue to lead, while Hawkeye (97.7 percent) climbed eight spots to take third.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu bar to select DES 2.
