The Postal Service is requiring all ACE computer users to update their eAccess password recovery setting profiles by Oct. 18. The update is part of a broader effort to bolster USPS online security.
To complete the password recovery settings profile, log into eAccess. A window will appear indicating these settings must be updated. Password recovery settings also are located under the My Profile tab in eAccess.
Users will be asked to select three security questions and provide answers. They also will create a four-digit numerical password reset key, which will be required to validate a user’s identity to reset a password.
Visit the CyberSafe at USPS site on Blue for additional resources, including password guidance, security resources and tips.
