Elvis Presley has a hit album again, courtesy of the Postal Service.
“Elvis Presley Forever,” the new CD available from USPS, has sold more than 50,000 copies since its release Aug. 12, postal sales figures show.
USPS is selling the 18-track CD along with the new Music Icons: Elvis Presley stamp. The stamp and the CD are available online and at Post Offices nationwide.
The CD debuted at No. 11 on Billboard’s albums chart last week, the Los Angeles Times reported. It’s the highest debut for a Presley album since “2nd to None” debuted at No. 3 in 2003.
The new CD includes hits such as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Return to Sender” and “Suspicious Minds,” along with previously unreleased versions of “If I Can Dream and “What Now My Love.”
