Several Postal Service employees and customers were honored at this year’s National Postal Forum (NPF), which concluded May 20 in Anaheim, CA.
Five employees were recognized for their contributions to Business Connect, an employee engagement program that encourages Postmasters and other managers to meet with small businesses in their communities.
The honorees: Mayville, MI, Postmaster Larry Harmon; Riverside, CA, Customer Services Manager Irene Maranan; San Antonio Customer Services Manager Valerie Ramirez; La Joya, TX, Postmaster Heriberto Sepulveda; and Waccabuc, NY, Postmaster Sandra Vitti.
USPS also presented its Partnership for Growth Award to the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee, which shares information with businesses and receives their advice and recommendations on mail-related products and services.
Headquarters Industry Segment Representative Ernie Harris also was honored for his longtime support of MTAC.
Additionally, the Postal Service presented several commercial mailers with awards for innovation and technological achievements.
Other Postal Forum highlights include PMG Megan Brennan’s keynote address, a series of presentations on USPS technology, training courses and the dedication of the Missing Children stamp.
