Western Area and Portland District continue to lead the scanning performance standings as of March 25:
- Areas. Western ranked first for the fifth straight week with a rating of 96.62 percent, followed by Southern (96.46 percent) and Capital Metro (96.16 percent).
- Districts. Portland led the pack for the third consecutive week with a rating of 97.67 percent, followed by Western New York (97.35 percent) and Sacramento (97.24 percent).
National scanning performance for the week ending March 20 was 96.03 percent, a slight decline from the previous week.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
