Western Area and Portland District once again topped the scanning performance standings as of March 18:
- Areas. Western held onto first place for the fourth straight week with a rating of 96.89 percent, followed by Southern (96.62 percent) and Capital Metro (96.32 percent).
- Districts. Portland maintained its hold on first for the second consecutive week with a rating of 97.72 percent, followed by Salt Lake City (97.41 percent) and Suncoast (97.23 percent).
National scanning performance for the week ending March 13 was 96.11 percent, rising more than a quarter percentage point from the previous week.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
