Western Area and Portland District are the leaders in scanning performance standings as of March 11:
- Areas. Western held onto first place for the third straight week with a rating of 96.66, followed by Capital Metro (95.93 percent) and Great Lakes (95.8 percent).
- Districts. Portland rose from fifth place last week to first with a rating of 97.48, followed by Salt Lake City (97.36 percent) and Mid-America (97.13 percent).
National scanning performance for the week ending March 6 was 95.78 percent, a slight decline from the previous week.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
