Western Area and Salt Lake City District again set the scanning performance pace as of March 4:
- Areas. Western held onto first place with a score of 96.77, followed by Capital Metro (96.49 percent) and Southern (96.41 percent).
- Districts. Salt Lake City maintained its hold on first place with a rating of 97.6, followed by Sacramento (97.42 percent) and Portland (97.39 percent).
National scanning performance for the week ending Feb. 27 was 96.08 percent, up almost a quarter percentage point from the previous week.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
