The Postal Service is deploying an updated version of Internet Explorer to ACE 3 computers running Windows 7.
The automatic installations began Jan. 27. Some users may need to manually reboot if the updated browser fails to open.
Internet Explorer 11 provides more secure browsing and faster navigation to USPS websites. It also supports important applications and has improved security to detect “phishing” attempts and other breaches.
Some applications, such as eRetire and eSourcing, are not fully compatible with the updated browser. Users will have to access these applications from the ACETS Hosted Application and Desktop Portal.
