Performance scores stay strong

Scanning Score Card

National scanning performance for the week ending Jan. 16 remained strong, with a rating of 96.15 percent.

As of Jan. 21, Western (96.64 percent) assumed first place among the areas. Eastern (96.59 percent) held on to second place for another week. Southern, with a score of 96.52 percent, was third.

Meanwhile, Portland, with a performance rating of 97.44 percent, finished first among the districts. Arkansas finished second at 97.4 percent. Dakotas maintained its hold on third with a rating of 97.32 percent.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps boost the Postal Service’s efficiency and strengthens the management of its network.
