Capital Metro Area, Arkansas District set scanning pace

Capital Metro Area (95.92 percent) and Arkansas District (97.33 percent) set the scanning pace, as of Dec. 31.

Great Lakes Area (95.91 percent) was second among areas. Southern Area (95.75 percent) rose from fourth to third place.

Meanwhile, Central Plains and Alabama were tied for second among districts, with performance ratings of 97.01 percent. Greater Indiana District (96.93 percent) finished fourth.

National scanning results also stayed strong during the week ending Dec. 26, with a performance percentage of 95.34.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps boost the Postal Service’s efficiency and strengthens the management of its network.
