The Postal Service will release four Songbirds in Snow stamps next month.
The stamps will feature four birds on snowy backgrounds: the golden crowned kinglet, the cedar waxwing, the northern cardinal, and the red-breasted nuthatch.
USPS will dedicate the stamps Aug. 4 at the American Philatelic Society’s annual StampShow in Portland, OR.
“With the StampShow set among the natural wonders of Portland, the U.S. Postal Service will be issuing a great set of stamps,” said Scott English, the society’s executive director.
