Wauchula, FL, Letter Carrier Kenneth “Keno” Jinwright was delivering mail recently when he saw a woman lying in the street. Her wrists were swollen and her fingers were bleeding.
After making sure she was stable, Jinwright walked the woman home and stayed with her until help arrived. When he checked on her later, he learned she had broken her wrist and a finger.
“Carriers like Keno are great to have in the community,” said Postmaster Michael Swearingen. “They’re always alert for customers and taking care of them.”
